This exciting and fast-paced book is about a thirteen-year-old girl named Charlotte Doyle.  Charlotte has to travel on a ship that is going across the Atlantic.  With none of her friends and none of her family members, Charlotte has to try to make the most of being the only girl aboard.  For the long and hard journey, Charlotte's dad gets her a big book with blank pages to keep track of her life on the ship.  Along the way, Charlotte is drawn into a mystery that will change her life forever!  This is a wonderful book and you should definitely read it!
