Do you ever love a book so much that you just really can not stop talking about it? That's how I feel about Tinkers by Paul Harding. I've talked about him on my personal blog. I've written a review of the book for The Quarterly Conversation. I've also interviewed him for the July issue of one of my absolutely favorite online literary journals, Bookslut.
Why do I love the book so much? I think it's because it features some of the most gorgeous sentences I have ever read. It's a testament to how much I love Paul's writing that I'm still talking about this novel months after finishing it. It's that good.
What are some books you have read that were so amazing you couldn't stop talking about them, even months or years later?
We are your friendly neighborhood bookstore, located in downtown Portsmouth, NH. Small but potent, we offer a fine selection of new books with an emphasis on fiction, history, poetry and mystery. We also have a great little kids section, and hold over 100 events a year.
